The Horatio Hornblower Quiestionnaire: All About....Archie!

NAME:Archie Wallace Kennedy

LIVING ARRANGEMENT:Lieutenant's berth aboard the HMS Indefatigable

FAVORITE PASTIME:Reading mostly, although lately I've been encouraged to
skylark abovedecks.

FAVORITE BOOK:Anything by Shakespeare, without a doubt. "Henry V" is a
particular favorite - he was so young, and such a good leader. An
inspiration.

THE BEST FEELING IN THE WORLD IS: Feeling the sun on my face. Feeling
safe. Breaking out of my fears to do things I never thought I'd be capable
of. Being a friend to somebody.

THE WORST FEELING IN THE WORLD IS: (something written, then scribbled out
very heavily) I don't know.

FAVORITE SMELLS: Flowers in bloom. Freshly cut apples. The heavy perfumed
smell a theater gets just before the play starts.

WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU THINK WHEN YOU WAKE IN THE MORNING: Am I alone?

BATTLE: SCARY OR EXCITING: Exciting, unless it goes on long enough for me
to think about it.

FAVORITE FOODS: A good roast, fresh fruits. Horatio's father's housekeeper
makes a superb beef tea.

CHOCOLATE OR VANILLA: I don't get much of either, but given a choice I like
a good rich vanilla. It tastes like the home I knew when I was very young.

STORMS, COOL OR SCARY: I've never really been able to enjoy thunderstorms,
although I know some people find them exhilerating. I mostly don't like
the noise.

FAVORITE DRINK: Hot tea with cinnamon.

IF YOU COULD CHANGE ANYTHING ABOUT THE WORLD, WHAT WOULD IT BE: I would
make sure that nothing innocent was ever afraid.

IF YOU COULD CHANGE ANYTHING ABOUT YOURSELF, WHAT WOULD IT BE: I would be
bolder. I often think I might be more like Horatio if things had gone
differently. But never mind that.

HAVE YOU EVER BEEN IN LOVE: Not really I don't think. It frightens me.

IS THE GLASS HALF EMPTY OR HALF FULL: I used to think it was completely
empty, but I'm seeing what's inside rise by inches. It might be half-full
soon.

WHAT'S IN YOUR ANXIETY CLOSET: A world of emptiness and loss.

WHAT'S YOUR LOFTIEST DREAM: to be the man my mother wanted me to be. To
save someone from the abuses that I suffered.

WHAT'S YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE: That they can't be saved.

WHAT DO YOU WISH PEOPLE KNEW ABOUT YOU THAT YOU FEEL THEY DON'T: That I'm
capable. That I can sing.
